We encourage employees to stay active and healthy through our annual "Don’t Quit, Move!" Challenge, a 15-week program that invites participants to train for and complete races of increasing distances. This fun challenge inspires employees to improve their fitness leading up to a race every fifth week, starting with a 5K and progressing to a 10K and, finally, a half marathon. Employees can take advantage of the training programs offered by the Hunter Wellness Center to build strength and endurance or follow their own workout routine. Whether walking, running, biking, rowing, or swimming, employees can choose how they move and mix activities to stay motivated.
This past year, 288 Hunter employees completed the first race! Participants joined in virtually or on-site for a live 5K walk or run, with each one receiving a T-shirt, a 5K medal, and a chance to win additional prizes. We’re committed to employee health and wellness and work to create a supportive environment for all to achieve their fitness goals.
