Hunter’s San Marcos Campus
Makes Sustainable Shift to Electric Landscape Equipment
As part of our ongoing effort to reduce our impact on the environment, we’re transitioning all of our gas-powered landscape equipment to battery- and electric-powered models. For the past two years, we've been using electric, autonomous, or push mowers for the majority of the turfgrass areas surrounding our San Marcos, California, campus. This next phase of our efforts will involve replacing our gas-powered landscape equipment, such as leaf blowers and hedge trimmers, with battery- and electric-powered options to bolster our positive impact.

Hunter Headquarters
Completes Next Phase of Solar Energy Investment
In 2024, we completed the addition of 532 kW of solar systems across the rooftops and vehicle canopies of our San Marcos, California, headquarters. This brings our campus solar energy capacity to 1 MW, and we have plans to invest in additional solar generation in the future.
