Qualifying Organizations
Our primary focus is on supporting the communities where our employees live: North San Diego County, California; Clermont, Florida; and Tijuana, Mexico. We welcome requests from local nonprofit organizations, excluding those affiliated with faith-based or religious groups, political entities, or private programs. Our goal is to assist small, community-based organizations that can demonstrate measurable impact in at least one of our key areas. Please note that we do not contribute to social fundraising events, such as galas or festivals.
Focus Areas
Our three focus areas are education, community, and the environment. These topics are important to our business philosophy and key stakeholders. Each focus area contributes to enhancing the quality of life in places where our business operations are located.
Raising the quality of education and training in the communities where we live, work, and play helps provide Hunter with a strong workforce. Communities also benefit because higher education levels correlate with more income and better jobs. Here are examples of programs, projects, and organizations that we support:

The sustainable use of natural resources and conservation of land and water are important to Hunter Industries.
